One of the most overlooked components of e-mail Marketing and by extension Affiliate Marketing in the building of an infinite income online is the Sales Funnel and its design.
Having a well designed Sales Funnel will almost always guarantee that your sales conversions are at their optimum. I am sad to say that many Marketers start out without even a basic Sales Funnel and in the process of conducting their online business miss out completely on the many, many benefits to be had, were it there.
There are marketers who channel their traffic you’re just one funnel away straight to an affiliate offer, and totally miss out on the opportunity to build a list and therefore an infinite income online.
Then, there are Marketers who fail to monetize their Thank You pages by not sticking a One Time Offer on the end of it. It may look like nothing but these seemingly small blunders can make you leave a lot of money on the table.
Sales Funnel designs can be simple and straight forward or they can be extremely complex affairs. The main objective here is that once a prospect is in the funnel it becomes exceedingly hard for them to exit the funnel without a purchase or without leaving their contact details.
In the most basic Funnel design you have a broad or wide front end, which is fronted by the Squeeze Page also known as the Lead Capture Page, this is where the prospect is brought into the funnel.
After the prospect signs up, they are then directed to a Thank You page, where they are formally thanked for opting in and officially welcomed on board. At this point they can either be asked to confirm if you are using a double opt-in, or they can be presented with a low cost One Time Offer, as the link to the Download Page is sent via e-Mail. On the Download Page the prospect is offered a different One Time Offer which is an up-sell of the previous one.

From then on the design of the Funnel will vary from one to the other, but the general idea is the same that is to keep the prospect buying until he stops buying. You stop selling when the prospect stops buying.
So in the Funnel the prospect will be presented with Up-sells, Cross-sells all the while being nudged to the Back-end of the Funnel where the business and the profits are the most lucrative. This is where the expensive one on one coaching and all the other high end products are.
